11 years ago, she opened an Interior Design firm on Bellmore, Long Island, New York and built a comfortable and loyal following of clients. Expansion of her core business justified relocation to 2355 Merrick Road in Bellmore, New York, with an emphasis on home décor items, accessories and furnishings.

Lori has always focused on the needs of the community. Responding to customer requests, she has added a special children’s section which includes bedding, toys and several organic lines for the environmentally conscious.

She is also no stranger to interior design services and innovation.

“One of my goals is to make your space look like you,” Lori says. She generally prefers a hands on approach with her clients; guiding and advising them with appropriate selections of furnishings, décor and accessories.

As a New York Interior Designer she wears many different types of hats which depend on the needs of the client.  Interior Design for a child’s space is often overlooked on Long Island, and it is one of the missions that Lori is focused on fulfilling.

She knows the industry very well. Lori Miller of Lori-Girl Creations, Inc.  holds degrees in both Interior Design and Psychology. She has been featured on BetterTV, has previously been heard on various radio programs, seen in local newspapers, writes for Doityourself.com, Builder Magazine, has written and teaches the Certified Decorators Curriculum for the Paint & Decorator’s Retail Association and was selected as one of Long Island’s Top Ten Designers by Wainscot Media/NY Spaces Magazine.  Her work has been exhibited in one of Long Island’s Showhouses, Newsday Long Island, Book of Showhouses, and in House Magazine.

As a socially responsible entrepreneur, she also believes that your personal environment impacts on your well-being and realizes that small changes can help to create a clear space through conscious choices.  As a result, since 2000, Lori has worked with a diverse clientele to help achieve their vision effectively.
