By: NNWMDistrict For the Near Northwest Management District, the Community Job Fair is part of a larger effort to rebuild the area and to revitalize it to become a thriving economic business and residential community. The WorkFaith Connection is partnering with the District as part of their mission to help job seekers gain meaningful employment. “Finding a job in this economy is challenging. Bringing job seekers together with local employers and job readiness training provider The WorkFaith Connection will build our community by putting people back to work,” said Wayne Norden, President /CEO of the Near Northwest Management District. Participating employers will seek to fill hourly positions ranging from entry-level to management across a variety of industries such as customer service, hospitality, sales, skilled and unskilled trades, transportation, security and more. Workshops on effective resumes and interview strategies will be offered to help job seekers secure employment. “We are here to help families and businesses succeed. It’s important to for children to see their parents working with a sense of pride and dignity. We believe this event is important to help revitalize the community, ultimately stabilizing families and our society,” said Sandy Schultz, President/CEO, The WorkFaith Connection.
