Setcom Awarded Key Patent for Innovative Wireless Communication System

Patent Expands Setcom’s Intellectual Property Portfolio for Specialty Vehicle Communications.

The patent, entitled "Wireless Portable Radio Vehicle Communication System", was issued on August 30, 2011.  It allows a vehicle user to wirelessly key a radio without being tethered to the actual vehicle.  This technology has increased the freedom and safety of thousands of police motorcycle officers around the world.
