Wounds UK 2011 - Pressure ulcers are moving to the top of the Healthcare agenda

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 11, 2011 - We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that Invacare will be presenting a number of new clinically proven initiatives at this year’s Wounds UK exhibition in Harrogate, 14th – 16th November.

Many clinicians are re-emphasising their holistic and managed approach to the prevention of pressure ulcers and with the recent use of ‘CARE’ and ‘SKIN Bundles’ within local initiatives have shown positive results.  Key components of these strategies are selecting appropriate pressure reducing surfaces and ensuring that all stakeholders are educated in pressure ulcer prevention. To assist you, we will be launching two new key support tools at Wounds UK to assist with pressure ulcer prevention and treatment protocols:
