McHenry Resident Selected “Hero in Long-Term Care”

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 10, 2011 - McHenry resident Mary Ann Porten was recently selected a “hero” in long-term care by the Health Care Council of Illinois. Mary Ann, who is a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at Alden Estates of Barrington Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Barrington, was recognized for positively impacting the facility’s ‘quality of life’ and her commitment to serving the needs of the patients, residents and their families. She is one of nearly 100 individuals throughout Illinois who were honored as part of National Nursing Home Week. Porten received a certificate of recognition.
