All About Water VII, a juried show at Gallery One

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 10, 2011 - All About Water VII is the current exhibition at GalleryONE in Old Saybrook.  This annual look at the subject of water, begun by the Tracy Art Center in 2005, is continued this year by GalleryONE.  It presents a wide variety of the work of area artists describing, visually and emotionally, the fluid world running through, within and around us.   The show was juried by representational  landscape and portrait painter, David Brown, and Judith Barbour Osborne, abstract artist in a variety of water-based mediums.  Both  jurors are members of GalleryONE, as is Nancy Tracy, artist, teacher, founder of the Tracy Art Center and originator of the tradition of the water show.
The show will run from Sunday, October 16th  through Saturday, November 5th.  A reception for the presentation of awards and the honoring of Nancy Tracy, founder of the Tracy Art Center, will be held on Sunday October 16th from 3:00 to 5:00 and is open to the public.
