As lead sponsor, Piola, 1625 Alton Rd., will host the festival’s official launch party from 7 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12. The restaurant will also be the presenting sponsor of the world premiere of an unseen Cousteau documentary on Friday, Oct. 21 at the New World Center, 555 17th St., on Miami Beach.
