Led by local fitness guru and Iron Man, Neil Aggett, Spinergy Torquay is attracting a diverse crowd to its heart pumping indoor cycling sessions, hosted at Winners 2000 gym on Teignmouth Road.

Combining targeted zone interval training and endurance sessions, Aggett and his team pride themselves on delivering class variety and embracing individuals of all fitness levels. A fact that is clearly reinforced by an attendee roster comprising of individuals ranging from 15 years old to 60 years of age.

“It sounds cliché, but our classes truly are for everyone, regardless of age, size or current fitness level,” comments Aggett.

“We push everyone to go harder, go faster and go for longer, and I believe the reason why we are getting such great feedback from both beginners and elite riders is that variety is always at the forefront. We keep everyone guessing. You simply don’t know what route lies ahead until you saddle-up, it could be hill climbs, breakaway sprints, a long endurance session or a complete combination. Every class is a challenge and our spinning classmates rise to it week in and week out as the results are so clearly visible – it’s addictive!”

Spinergy Torquay uses the latest spinning bikes and creates a focused, fun and personal atmosphere, where the music pumps for the cyclists to match the beats with each revolution. The lights are turned down allowing complete focus on the ride, the heart rate and the motivating instruction.

Classes run Monday through Saturday at a variety of convenient times, and session fees have been packaged in a simple pay-as-you-go format, where attendees can purchase five, ten or twenty ride tickets and use them at their leisure.
