First Encounter with the iPhone 4S

PRLog - Oct. 10, 2011 - Apple is mourning the loss of their iconic and genius CEO, Steve Jobs. However, they also welcomed the newest member of their family the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S was launched in October 4, with Tim Cook spearheading the event. It was the first launch for the newly appointed Apple CEO. According to Cook, Apple was giving the world a better vision of what they were already selling. The launch of the iPhone 4S drew mixed reactions from supporters and critics. Many people were expecting a newly designed phone in the form of an iPhone 5. Well, enough about the reactions at this point.

The supposed crowning glory of iPhone 4S is Siri, the voice command. Siri could be like your virtual assistant. Siri can schedule your meetings, place your phone calls, send text messages, and find directions if you're lost. You can even use Siri to research through web sources like Yelp and WolframAlpha. Siri knows every data in your phone. You can prompt her to text your dad just by commanding her to do so. It's as simple as that. Siri is very user-friendly and it can do so much to make your life more convenient. The new iPhone 4S has been designed for more sensitivity to voice commands. Instead of using your keyboard, you can compose your text messages and notes through voice commands.

Another feature worth highlighting is the dual-core A5 chip. This is how Siri and the 8MP camera with the HD video feature work well together without affecting the speed. In fact, the iPhone 4S is now faster and more responsive. According to Apple, the A5 chip has twice the power of the iPhone 4. Graphics are also seven times faster. The energy-efficient A5 chip gives the iPhone 4S a longer battery life. Surfing the Web, gaming, and tinkering with apps will be easier than ever.

Finally, the best camera on an iPhone is out. The 8MP resolution camera has a custom lens with a significantly bigger f/2.4 aperture, which makes photos look significantly brighter. All the phone shutterbugs will rejoice because of its auto white balance, advanced color accuracy, backside illumination sensor which generate beautiful photos even in the dark, and face detection. The face detection feature will be well-appreciated by portrait lovers. Shaky hands will benefit from the reduced motion blur. Expect beautiful and stunning photos whether they're displayed on the iPhone, desktop, laptop, or prints. You can also edit your photos in the phone itself if you need to upload it in Facebook or Twitter. Because of the A5 chip, you don't have to worry about capturing a split-second moment. In relation to the camera, you can also shoot a video in 1080 HD. You have all the tools to document videos in many degrees of lighting and motion.

The iPhone 4S now operates on the newest iOS 5. It now features an iMessage feature, where users can send fellow users unlimited messages for free. You can even send photos and videos through iMessage. Users will also remain updated with messages, requests, and the weather through the notification center. Expect more apps and Twitter integration (social networking made a tad easier).

With all these new features, along with the old one, don't think twice about keeping yourselves updated on when the iPhone 4S will be released in your area.
