Company owner Jonah Solano, who studied filmmaking and cinematography at Pasadena City College, directs and oversees post-production while partner and husband Dennis Solano acts as an Art Director/Production during wedding shoots. Dennis Solano is a former Vault Manager for Cinesite Productions in LA, a Kodak Company.

October 8th, 2011 marks the one-year anniversary of Solano’s wedding planner iPhone app, a booking and promotional app offered in Apple’s iTunes store and compatible on Apple devices like the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and soon to be on the forthcoming iPhone 4S.

Solano 888 Productions is headed by Joah Solano, a former Marketing Supervisor of Splendido Taal Golf Club in the Philippines. Splendido Taal is a very modern pro-golf facility designed by Greg Norman—an internationally acclaimed, 18-hole-par 74 course.

While there, Solano coordinated over 300 events such as golf tournaments (Senator’s Cup, Samsung Cup, Quarterly Member’s Golf Tournament, and more), BMW & Porsche car shows, bridal fashion shows, product launches, anniversary parties and weddings—just to name a few.  She credits her success at Splendido Taal as motivation for starting her event planning company upon relocation to California.

Since starting her wedding planner business in Los Angeles, Solano has over five years experience locally coordinating events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversary parties, product debuts, Quinceañera, Sweet 16 parties, bar and bat mitzvahs and other similar social events.
