The beauty of these gauges isn't just skin deep. The AEM UEGO gauges utilize a Bosch LSU4.2 wideband O2 sensor, providing for a very short warm-up time of less than 20 seconds and very accurate AFR readings. These sensors are individually calibrated and a resistor integral at the connector body is laser trimmed with this value. This process replaces the traditional "free air" calibration procedure when changing sensors and implements a sensor specific calibration for unparalleled accuracy. These gauges also utilize AEM's internal UEGO controller to convey accurate and repeatable AFR readings. The sensor's accuracy is +/- 0.1 of an AFR point. The digital 30-4100 gauge utilizes a 24 color-coded LED display and digital readout and the analog 30-5130 gauge has an easily visible red needle to provide immediate reference to the engine's AFR.
Perhaps one of the most convenient features of AEM's high performance UEGO gauges is their flexibility. They can connect to most aftermarket EMS and/or data loggers with their user-programmable 0-5v output and can accurately monitor air/fuel ratios on gasoline, methanol, ethanol, propane, and CNG applications.
