Guardian Girls was founded by Yvonne Anderson, a breast cancer survivor and mother with the intention of ending the cycle of violence against women and families. The mission is to empower women and fund the Guardian Girls Foundation (guardiangirlsfoundation.org) that donates 100% of proceeds to established organizations that aim to improve the lives of women and their families. “It takes the support of every woman to make this dream come true; personal safety is a mindset and lifestyle choice” stated by Yvonne Anderson earlier this year at her charity event. She is partnering with several recognized national foundations to achieve this goal.
