Stow Mayoral Candidate Scott Buck To Host Events Discussing Local Issues

Oct. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Stow, OH - A series of open discussions and “meet and greet” fundraising events have been scheduled for Stow residents to discuss critical local issues with Stow Mayoral candidate Scott Buck.

“During this campaign, Stow residents have given me some excellent ideas on ways to help the City of Stow continue to be the best place for people and businesses to call home,” said Buck, a Stow resident for more than 25 years.  “Stow’s most important asset is its residents and they are the best source of ideas to address our issues.

To keep that discussion going, Buck has scheduled a number of local events to give Stowites the opportunity to meet and discuss community issues like the city’s economy, the future of its safety programs, and street maintenance.

“It’s important to keep the discussions going and make sure we’re focusing our limited resources on addressing the top priorities of our community,” said Buck.  “The struggling economy is forcing America and cities like Stow to change their approach to managing our town.  Stow can’t afford to assume these issues will be addressed if our strategy is to just keep things the way they are.”

The schedule of open discussion events in Stow includes: Every Monday evening, October 10 - October 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and every Wednesday, October 12 - November 2, from 7:30 a.m.. to 8:30 a.m.  These events will be held at the Stratford Place in Stow, 4301 Darrow Road on the first floor.

“Meet and Greet” fundraising events will be held at the following locations and the donation/ticket price includes: appetizers and a drink ticket:
