2011 Voices for Kids Gala on November 5 to Honor Nanci DuBois

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 7, 2011 - Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida, Inc. and Presenting Sponsor ICI Insurance Center, Inc., Danielli Martel, Agent, are pleased to announce the 2011 Voices’ Red & White Gala to be held on Saturday, November 5th at 6PM at the Royal Palm Yacht Club in Fort Myers. The fun filled evening includes a wine tasting, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, desserts and a special chocolate tasting by Norman Love Confections.

The 2011 Voice of the Year, Nancy DuBois, is Executive Director of Lee County Bar Association and a dedicated volunteer child advocate for the Guardian ad Litem program.

A kaleidoscope of song and dance performed by SWFL youth representing the Broadway Palm Children's Theater, Florida Repertory Theater and WGCU-TV Curious Kids will entertain guests throughout the evening.

Proceeds benefit Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida, Inc., a non-profit organization supporting the 20th Circuit Florida Guardian ad Litem Program in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties by providing volunteer advocates and resources for foster children not provided by any other source. The Guardian ad Litem Program supports volunteers who advocate for abused, neglected and abandoned children in court, the child welfare system and the community.
