Oct. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- BAR HARBOR, MAINE  – Albert Pod, best known for growing Executive Jet Management, a NetJets and Berkshire Hathaway Company, into one of business aviation’s premiere aircraft management and charter firms, has expanded his Rushmore Wall Group into the United States market. The Rushmore Wall Group’s singular focus is to accelerate the development, growth, profitability and ability to compete of any size Part 135 aircraft management and charter firm.

The Rushmore Wall Group, located in Bar Harbor, Maine and Cincinnati, Ohio focuses on client firms in the U. S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Pod is chairman and chief executive officer of the company.  He has assembled a staff of 14 including 11 who were formerly on his leadership team at Executive Jet Management.

For the past 22 months The Rushmore Wall Group has been helping Asia-based business aviation companies.  “It is an opportune time now to address the U.S. marketplace,” Pod said.  “The demand is there.  I’ve been approached by several CEOs regarding how best to help their growth, profitability and ability to compete more successfully. The timing is absolutely correct.” Pod said the leadership team that has been put together at RWG earlier was integral in allowing Executive Jet Management to grow the number of managed aircraft from 6 to 100 and realize an annual charter sales revenue increase of over nine thousand per cent.

“Lessons learned managing this growth at EJM, combined with the additional  lessons learned since assisting client Part 135 firms develop, grow and increase profitability,  provides the framework for RWG’s proprietary FOUR LEVEL business-building process,” he said.

Pod said that while he believes there are several exceptional aviation auditing firms and many excellent aviation consulting firms, only RWG has the single focus, direct experience and verifiable performance record of developing and growing Part 135 aircraft management and charter firms.

Pod said he has agreements with two former Executive Jet Management senior team members to join RWG in the next weeks for the US expansion.  Assisting him now from his former EJM leadership team are, Bob Mayo, vp of operations and personnel development, Jeff Cryder, chief financial advisor, Richard Williams, vp maintenance and repair station administration, Barry Morgan, vp information technology and project implementation, Walter Ernst, vp regulatory compliance,  Dan Flynn, vp charter sales and information technology implementation, Ginnell Schiller, vp of marketing and Don Emerling, vp business process optimization and quality standards .

Pod said his experiences at EJM and later assisting client companies taught him that in order for aircraft management and charter companies to be truly successful growth driven market leaders, they need high marks on full regulatory compliance, the ability to meet contemporary audit standards,  having in place fully optimized metric driven processes and decision making in all departments and importantly, possessing an ingrained company culture which fully supports all of the above.

“There is a business truth that I’ve seen both inside the development of Executive Jet Management and other client companies we’ve worked with,” he said.  “All these organizations originally did not best utilize optimized   process based management and metric based decision making; success here absolutely assures business growth and markedly increased customer satisfaction.  Firms’ internal shortcomings herein are actual limitations to growth of managed aircraft, charter revenues and customers.”

The Rushmore Wall Group’s LEVEL ONE process features attainment of full regulatory compliance. In LEVEL TWO, RWG designs an implementation plan to allow the clients’ operations, maintenance and safety management systems to come into compliance with contemporary audit standards such as Wyvern, Air Charter Safety Foundation or ARGUS Platinum Standards.

RWG’s LEVEL THREE utilizes RWG’s keen industry knowledge and metric based process optimization and implementation expertise to optimize the processes within and between all a client’s areas: operations, maintenance, SMS, accounting, finance, client billing, charter sales, aircraft management sales, marketing, human resources, and information technology.  It includes placing into continuous improvement firm-wide processes and strategies.  Some clients have initially chosen to correct only those processes which are causing the greatest impediments to growth and profitability.

RWG’s LEVEL FOUR features Pod working directly the client firm’s CEO [and leadership team, if requested] to guide them to accelerated attainment of success in LEVELS ONE, TWO and THREE.

Pod left Executive Jet Management in 2009.  “At that time the U.S. general aviation industry was doing very poorly but Asia and the Middle East were very much less affected,” he said.  “I made numerous trips including to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore and the Middle East   In December of 2009 my team and I began helping firms there with their process, quality and regulatory issues.  We contracted and worked with Asia’s largest aircraft management and charter firm, Beijing-based DeerJet, for more than a year utilizing all four levels of our proprietary FOUR LEVEL process to accelerate DeerJet’s development, growth, profitability, ability to compete and importantly, markedly increase its customer satisfaction levels.”

Pod also assisted the leadership of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) in authoring and delivering to the CAAC a Chinese culture oriented version of the entire existing US Part 91 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.  Prior to this work’s implementation, no Part 91 existed within China.
