Vero Beach, Ft. Pierce & Port St Lucie, October 7th, 2011 Tropical Smoothie Cafés located at Broward and Dade County is celebrating the introduction of its new Kids Combo Meals by offering kids 12 and younger a chance to enjoy the meals for free on Tuesdays for a limited time.
Between now through to October 16, 2011, kids can receive one FREE kid’s meal with the purchase of every Paradise Combo (which includes any regular-sized wrap or sandwich and a 24oz smoothie). Kid’s meals include a cheese pizza, cheese quesadilla or other delicious options. One of our newest and healthier options for kids is the Chicken Caesar salad.
The Kids Combo Meals are a prominent addition to the new menu at Tropical Smoothie Café. New food items on the kids menu include Cheese Pizza, Banana Mania Smoothie and a Kid Flatbread, which comes in three varieties: ham and American cheese, turkey and provolone and grilled cheese.
“For the first time, we’re giving kids the option to choose a combo meal, just as their parents can,” said Mike Fletcher, owner of Tropical Smoothie Café, Fort Pierce. “By offering the opportunity to try one for free, we’re letting kids and their parents know that we offer all of our customers the delicious, quality meals they crave.”
In addition to giving kids a new meal option, Tropical Smoothie Café is offering the organizations that support school programs and other youth activities an opportunity to maximize their charitable efforts through the restaurant chain’s In-Store Fundraising Program.
“At Tropical Smoothie Café, we strive to contribute to a healthier way of life in the communities where we live,” Greg Watkins, Regional Manager, Vero Beach said. “Our In-Store Fundraising Program gives back a portion of our sales during a specified time and date to a community organization, which allows it to better fund its activities and events.”
The restaurant will display customized flyers advertising the fundraiser a week prior to the event, after arranging a time and date with the manager or owner of a Tropical Smoothie Café. The restaurant also will provide organizations an electronic copy of the flyer to print and pass out.
“We want your next fundraiser at Tropical Smoothie Café to be the most successful and fun event that it can be,” Greg Watkins said.
