BioVision, Inc. releases StemBoost™ "Ready-to-Use" cocktails for Stem Cell Research

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 11, 2012 - BioVision, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of two StemBoost™ Reprogramming cocktail Sets as well as one StemBoost™ YPAC Cocktail Set to its growing portfolio of novel reagents for use in stem cell research.

The StemBoost™ Reprogramming cocktail Sets I and II are convenient, sterile-filtered cocktail solutions (1000X, in DMSO) consisting of four Stem Cell Fate Modulators useful for enhancing the reprogramming efficiency of human somatic cells to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).

The StemBoost™ YPAC Cocktail Set is a convenient, sterile-filtered cocktail solution (1000X, in DMSO) containing four signaling inhibitors YPAC (Y-27632, a ROCK inhibitor, PD0325901, a MEK Inhibitor, A83-01, an ALK5 inhibitor and CHIR99021, a GSK-3β inhibitor), useful for maintaining the pluripotency of embryonic stem cells (ESCs).

These "Ready-to-Use" sterile-filtered cocktail solutions can be used directly in the cell culture media. All these cocktails are offered in a variety of convenient sizes useful for the end users.
