Oct. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children will host a meet and greet with former head coach Jackie Sherrill, several former members of Texas A&M University’s 12th Man Kickoff Team and former Texas A&M University football players. The group will distribute and autograph 12th Man Kickoff Team memorabilia and take pictures with TSRHC patients. Copies of Jackie Sherrill’s book, “No Experience Required,” will also be available for sale with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting TSRHC.

The 12th Man Kickoff Team foundation was formed in 2007 by former Texas A&M University 12th Man Kickoff players, the majority of whom were coached by Jackie Sherrill. Their mission is to provide scholarships to students attending Texas A&M University in need of not only financial assistance but also in need of someone to believe in their abilities to thrive and become a success given the opportunity. Their funds come from the sale of the book “No Experience Required” written in conjunction with Coach Sherrill and the 12th Man Kickoff Team players, as well as donations.
