Respected Florida Attorney Joseph Pippen, Jr. Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree

(Tampa, FL) - Joseph Pippen, Jr. recently received an Honorary Doctorate Degree - Doctor of Humane Letters - from the Landmark Baptist College in recognition of his 27 years of community service with his radio show "Ask An Attorney".

This honor was bestowed to him for his outstanding service and commitment to the Tampa Bay community, with his radio show "Ask An Attorney".

27 years ago Joseph "Joe" Pippen started his radio show "Ask An Attorney" which allows people around the Tampa Bay area the ability to call in and ask a real attorney, real questions and get answers free of charge.

Pippen has also lent his expertise to the community through a weekly newspaper column called "Ask An Attorney" where people could write their questions and receive answers.

His radio show airs on WTBN, WGUL, WFLA in the Tampa Bay area. Previously he has hosted a nationwide radio show called "Ask An Attorney" heard in 86 cities and 39 states.

Outside of his outstanding commitment to his listeners, he's been a pillar in the community when it comes to our youth.

Pippen has been a proud supporter of the United Way and the Hugh O' Brian Youth Foundation. Throughout the years he's helped raise over a million dollars for the United Way. He also served as the State Chairman for Florida and served as the National Leader of Volunteers for the Hugh O' Brian Youth Foundation.

Pippen has also helped Landmark Baptist College develop a radio telethon for listeners to donate to the radio station owned by the College.   The first year Pippen helped with the telethon, $15,000 was raised. Sixteen years later, the telethon brings in some $250,000 for the College each year.

He is cited as one of the "Outstanding Volunteer Activists" for his work and dedication; all of which led to this prestigious Honorary Doctorate Degree - Doctor of Humane Letters - from the Landmark Baptist College
