Free Flu Shots Offered to the Public - Compliments of Twin Cities Hospital

Oct. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Twin Cities Community Hospital invites community members, ages 9 and up, to get a jump on the flu season by coming in and getting a complimentary flu vaccination.  The vaccinations will be administered on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Founders’ Pavilion, on the first floor, inside the Morgan Conference Center.

According to the National Institute on Aging, “The flu shot can reduce hospitalization by about 70 percent and death by about 85 percent among older adults who do not live in nursing homes.”

Hospital officials urge the public to take advantage of this free offering.
