One Stop E-recruitment Portal Created To Meet Needs Of Public Sector Organisations In The South East

The new, easy-to-navigate website - southeastjobs.org.uk – offers an outstanding interactive e-recruitment service for councils and other public sector organisations combined with significant cost savings.

EMPLOYERS and jobseekers can now benefit from a dynamic one stop e-recruitment portal designed to meet the needs of public sector organisations in the South East.

The new, easy-to-navigate website - southeastjobs.org.uk – offers an outstanding interactive e-recruitment service for councils and other public sector organisations combined with significant cost savings.  

Southeastjobs.org.uk is already attracting a huge level of interest from jobseekers – visits to the site exceed 180,000 with an average of 863 visits per day. For jobseekers it’s a user-friendly, one-stop service with positions advertised by public sector organisations across the region to support finding new or alternative employment or careers.

Using the portal enables organisations to advertise new job opportunities to a wider market and facilitate the sharing of existing staff skills within and between organisations. For a small annual subscription organisations benefit from cost and efficiency savings; no procurement costs, reduced advertising spend, and more efficient use of staff time in managing the recruitment process.

The portal offers the latest features in e-recruitment including:
•   proactive notification and alerts direct to jobseekers,
•   applicant tracking from job advert through to job offer,
•   talent pools with search and skills sharing facilities,
•   on-line psychometric assessments as part of the selection process,
•   management reporting and cost analysis facility,
•   CRB eBulk processing (coming soon) for increased speed and efficiency.
