Dana Whitaker is owner of Opening Eyes, LLC, a business committed to helping women reach their personal and professional goals. As a coach, Dana helps women become more self-aware so that in expanding who they are and want to be, they may clearly identify, strategically pursue, and attain specific, meaningful goals. She graduated from Newfield Network, an International Coach Federation (ICF) certified coaching program. Dana wrote Transforming Lives $40 at a Time, Women + Microfinance: Upending the Status Quo, a book of photographs and personal stories that brings readers face-to-face with the dreams, fears and successes of women (and a few like-minded men) who use microfinance to open businesses of their own, grow them and, as a result, transform their lives. She speaks to groups around the country including businesses, schools and universities, bookstores, women’s and philanthropy clubs and groups sharing not only the power of microfinance, but also her personal passion-to-publish-to-coaching story.
