Chapman Partnership receives coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator

Oct. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- MIAMI, FL – Chapman Partnership was awarded the highest ranking bestowed by Charity Navigator to a nonprofit organization for exceeding industry standards and outperforming peers.

As the recipient of a four-star rating out of four, Chapman Partnership is acknowledged for its sound fiscal management, transparency and accountability. Only a quarter of charities evaluated by the 10-year-old charity rating service receive the highest ranking.

Chapman Partnership, formerly Community Partnership for Homeless, spends 84 percent of its income on programs for the homeless. Administrative and fundraising expenses account for only 16 percent of its income.

Charity Navigator’s evaluations of a charity’s financial health – which examines daily management of finances and the ability to sustain programs over time – help millions of donors make better giving decisions. By logging onto www.charitynavigator.org, donors can determine which charities have “best practices” that minimize the chance of unethical activities and whether they freely share basic information about their organization to stakeholders, along with the traditional Charity Navigator matrices.
