October 17 is the Deadline to Register for the 7th Annual Coders' Day Conference

AAPC Monmouth-Ocean NJ Chapter is hosting the Seventh Annual New Jersey Coders Day Medical Coding and Billing Conference on Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, at Branches Catering in West Long Branch; registration ends 10/17/2011.

Oct. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- This year’s theme, A Carnival of Coding, introduces a new, interactive learning and fun experience with a “Carnival of Coding Fun House.”  Attendees will attempt to Quack-a-Code on a seven foot duck; learn while playing Wheel of Coding, Pin the Tail on the Sacrum with “Stan the 3-dimensional man”; Roll-a-Code one foot square dice, and more. They will also earn 8 AAPC CEUs as this program meets the American Academy of Professional Coders’ guidelines for 8 continuing education units, as well as 8 AHIMA CEUs (American Health Information Management Association). The cost to attend the all day conference is $149.00; registration ends October 17, 2010. Registration is exceeding expectations and will be limited to 300.

The event features several notable speakers, exhibitors, give-aways, and door prizes. Scheduled speakers include: Rhonda Buckholtz, CPC, CPMA, CPC-I, CENTC, CGSC, COBGC, CPEDC; Nadinia Davis, MBA, CIA, CPA, RHIA, CHDA, FAHIMA; Assistant Attorney General John Kennedy; Aditya Mehra, MD; and Lt. Col. Jeanne Yoder, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-1.
