Glass Doctor of Midland-Odessa, TX Donates Event Proceeds to the American Diabetes Association

Oct. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Glass Doctor® of Midland - Odessa and Hands of Compassion Home Care, Inc. raised $768 for the American Diabetes Association – Permian Basin Saturday with a windshield chip repair event. The event took place in the Wal-Mart parking lot on John Ben Sheppard Road in Odessa.  

“It was so nice, and we had so much fun,” Olivia Nastansky of Glass Doctor of Odessa said. “We’re already looking forward to doing it next year.”

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes. They also deliver services to hundreds of communities, provide credible information on the disease and give voice to those denied their rights by diabetes.

Glass Doctor is also a sponsor of the Midland Step Out Walk Oct. 15 at Midland College. Nastansky will also be walking in the Step Out Walk.

“Everyone knows someone who has battled diabetes,” Nastansky said. “We’re glad we can offer our time and services to help such an important cause.”
