The young company introduced independent stylist Antoinette Francis as the area’s first local stylist on October 1st. Although the Stella & Dot label is not new to the Centre County area, as the county has seen its fair share of stylists from different regions of Pennsylvania, Francis becomes the first stylist primarily serving the State College and Centre County region.
“I am so excited to be launching this fresh brand in the State College area,” said Francis, also a senior Print Journalism major at Penn State. “The accessories that we carry are fresh and trendy, just like the average State College female. They can fit any wardrobe and offer every woman or girl an update to her closet.”
Women can shop three ways: online, in-person via catalog or in-person via trunk show. Trunk shows allow customers to see, feel and try on jewelry, and they offer hostesses $250 in free jewelry and handbags.
“They are truly fun events that bring together your closest friends or your book club,” Francis said. “Every trunk show is unique and offers fun games, prizes and discounts to all in attendance.”
With the launch of Stella & Dot to the State College area comes a month-long promotion: “I am proud to announce that until the end of the month,” said Francis, “I will be offering trunk show guests with 25% off select items and hostesses with a free Soho black patent key pouch, retailing at $44, in addition to their $250 bonus in free jewelry and handbags.”
Francis will also be hosting an October Caption Contest for the entire month of October on Facebook (www.facebook.com/
