Raise Funds for Rescue and K9 Police Dogs with Orion Healthy Pet Oct 8th 2011

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 3, 2011 - Lake Orion, Michigan, October 3rd, 2011 - Orion Healthy Pet would like to invite you to their store on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 for their big fundraising event! Orion Healthy Pet has been working towards better natural dog food to improve dog nutrition and dog health for pets across the country. This is their third event to raise money for the Great Dane Rescue and K9 Police Dog Fund, and they would love to have you come and help them make it a success!

This amazing event, lasting from 10am to 3pm, will have a variety of fun activities for the whole family, pets included! Among the entertainment is Laura, a pet psychic. For only $20, you can have a fifteen-minute session with your dog. This is an experience you cannot miss, so call Orion Healthy Pet (248-690-7796) or come in to the store to sign up for a time slot. Photographer Mark Kelly will also be there waiting to take glamorous shots of your dog. At a rate of $5 per pet, which will be donated in its entirety to K9 Police Dog Fund, you can get beautiful pictures of your pets to hang on your wall.

The day would not be complete without a 50-50 raffle for a large variety of donated items and coupons from local businesses, as well as select dog health items from Orion Healthy Pet itself. Gift bags will be sold prior to the event containing raffle tickets, along with other goodies, including a $5 off coupon to Orion Healthy Pet, valid for all your favorite dog health and care products like homemade dog food and natural dog food mixes only on the day of the event. You will also be able to buy tickets at the event, so make sure to bring your lucky charm, because you are going to want to win these items!

Some other winning events for the day include puppy adoptions, a Big Dog BBQ, and many local vendors you do not want to miss. Starting at noon, there will also be an Off-Leash Obedience Demo by K9 Academy, followed by a Homemade Dog Food Demo where you can learn to provide better dog nutrition for your pet by creating healthy homemade dog food.
