PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 4, 2011 - Charity Rock supports the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club with a FREE SHOW (donations suggested) Sunday, 10/16 at the Living Room featuring Lachi & Meridian Gold
Join Charity Rock from 2:00PM to 6:00PM and see some of the best music in NYC including acclaimed artist Lachi and her power-driven urb/alt band Meridian Gold (lachimusic.com), NYC rock icons The Kin (thekin.com), Brooklyn-based The Blue Pages (thebluepagesmusic.com), alt rockers The Foreign Tides (music.theforeigntides.com), and talented singer-songwriter Jerzy Jung (myspace.com/jerzyjung). Framed and unframed photography will be available for purchase from Greg Barrett.
The stated mission of the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club is to save and enhance the lives of New York City boys and girls who by means of economic and/or social factors are most in need of its services.
Charity Rock, which uses the efforts of live and recorded music to raise funds for various charitable organizations, will be hosting the event in support of the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club. Though the event is free to the public, donations of $10 are highly encouraged at the door or given directly through the Madison Square Boys & Girls club website.
