Since then, Diesel Power Products has grown from a one man operation to a respected diesel product superstore.
In November of 2010, Power Products Unlimited, Inc. was created to encompass all entities of the company.
Two months later (January of 2011) marked the creation of two new online stores: Offroad Power Products and Towing Power Products. The new websites focused on offroad and towing parts and accessories, which were becoming more and more requested at Diesel Power Products.
Today, the company manages all 3 entities under the umbrella of Power Products Unlimited, Inc. With 3 websites and 7 additional employees, Howell and Diesel Power Products have stepped up to the challenge of producing superior diesel products.
Howell’s investments and additions have also proved fruitful. Power Products Unlimited, Inc. has over 10,000 Facebook fans and another 10,000 readers in its mailing list. The 3 sites boast 70,000 combined visitors per month.
The success of the Diesel Power Products can be verified in sales revenue. Sales totals in 2007 came to $400,000. This year, the company is on pace to surpass $5,000,000 in sales.
Howell, who acts as President of the company, credits superior customer experience as the source for the company’s success.
"Our strategy for growth is to provide the best customer experience possible with the lowest operational cost. When it comes to employees we believe in quality over quantity. Our customers know their salesperson by name and it's not uncommon to see a customer returning to us over and over again to buy parts," says Howell.
