Kepha Partners’ New Fund Reaching Completion

In recent venture capital news, Kepha Partners   reported Monday that its second venture capital fundraiser is well on its way to completion, with $73.7 million raised out of a targeted $100 million.

The Waltham, Mass.-based VC firm, which focuses on early-stage startup investments, said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that 19 investors have contributed to the fund so far.

Kepha Partners was founded in 2006 and had initially raised $50 million for its inaugural fund, before expanding it to $100 million in 2009.
