A certified Nurse Practitioner, Megan will be assisting with the medical needs of patient’s at Heywood’s Center for Behavioral Health and will be accepting patients 14 years and older for primary care at Winchendon Health Center, under the practices of John Harrington, MD and David Havlin, MD.
“We are very glad to have Megan join us in providing quality care to our patients in both Winchendon and Gardner,” said the Director of Winchendon Health Center, Ellen Goderre, RN,BSN. “Her breadth of experience working with behavioral health and primary care for adults is an exceptional asset to the Heywood Hospital family and our patients.”
An experienced social worker and nurse, Megan has excelled in behavioral health and primary care settings, most recently serving as Staff nurse at The Winchendon School since 2009 and participating in graduate clinical training at several area health centers, including Winchendon Health Center under the supervision of John Harrington, MD.
A resident of Winchendon, Megan is a recent graduate of University of Massachusetts Worcester and holds an MS in Nursing with an Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specialty, and is certified by the state of Massachusetts and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In addition, Megan Tracy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
