Oct. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Harajuku Lovers was founded in 2005 by Gwen Stefani. Stefani's unique fashion and her fascination for Japanese street style inspired her to create Harajuku Lovers fragrances.

Harajuku Lovers was founded in 2005. The concept for Harajuku Lovers revolves around the Shibuya, Tokyo area of Harajuku and the four "Harajuku Girls," Gwen Stefani's Japanese back-up dancers and entourage (Love, Angel, Music, and Baby).

The Harajuku Girls are featured in stage shows and music videos for Gwen Stefani during her solo pop R&B dance-record phase. The "Harajuku Girls" continued to appear alongside Stefani, and were featured in the music videos for "What You Waiting For?", "Rich Girl", "Hollaback Girl", "Luxurious", "Crash", "Wind It Up", "The Sweet Escape", and "Now That You Got It". Gwen appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, and introduced the dancers as her "imaginary friends".

Designer Harajuku Lovers collection has 18 perfumes.The earliest edition was created in 2008 and the newest is from 2011. Harajuku Lovers fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Harry Fremont, Steve Demercado, Chistophe Raynard, Yves Cassar, Pascal Guarin, Honorine Blanc, Clement Gavarry, Gabriela Chelariu, Carlos Vinals, Ilias Ermenidis, Richard Herpin, Christelle Laprade, Celine Barel, Maurice Roucel and Adriana Medina.
