“We wanted a product that could be used alone in one’s own home, or with a partner or professional dance instructor to help people learn dance principles and concepts faster,” said CEO Jay Malik. “Dance is an integral part of societies around the world, and provides both social and health related benefits that are invaluable. We had a vision for a dance product that would be affordable and adaptable to people’s learning styles and time commitments.”
Three versions of DanceApp are currently available. The DanceApp – Waltz Starter is sold for $4.99 and has access to all four introductory Waltz patterns. The DanceApp--Tango Starter is sold for $.99. Other dances can be purchased from within these applications. The full DanceApp product delivers the complete collection of six basic ballroom dances (adding Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Cha Cha and Rumba) and is sold for $19.99.
