The Robin Hood Project, Inc., is a 100% volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Funds raised through the Run/Walk directly assist the Project in continuing its mission of helping local families by providing basic needs, such as furniture and clothes.
The 5K race starts at Our Lady of Pompeii Church on Dante Avenue in Vineland at 9 a.m. and features a scenic tour of East Vineland’s farmlands. A one-mile walk for participants is also offered. Runners and walkers of all levels are invited to compete, and all pre-registered participants receive a race day t-shirt and goody bag. The Robin Hood Project, Inc. began its work in 2008 with charities and local families on to ensure that the neediest residents in Cumberland and Salem counties are directly served. Through donations from family and friends, the grassroots Robin Hood Project delivers clothing, kitchenware, linens, baby supplies and toys to struggling neighbors with limited financial means.
