Design collaboration for Dragon Den success

Sept. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Max McMurdo is another business success to come out of the BBC investment show Dragon's Den, having gained financial support and mentoring from the dynamic duo Theo and Deborah [Series 5] for his evolutionary furtniture and accessory designs.  It may seem like a lifetime ago that he was standing in front of a row of Dragons, waiting to see if his upcycling dream would be taken to the next level, but the young entrepreneur has grasped his business opportunity with both hands, going from strength to strength, and not looking back.  

Reestore upcycles everyday waste objects and materials creating stylish furniture, including the shopping trolley chair, and the bath tub sofa.  

Most recently, Max has joined design forces with interior designer Sharon James.  Their collaboration has seen the birth of 'Maxine', a retro-modern chaise lounge.   The curvaceous converted bath tub oozes style and is surprisingly comfortable.  Maxine was revealed for the first time at Imani Renae's launch party at Shoreditch's The Rag Factory on Friday 28th September 2011.   The upcycled piece of furniture can be made for right or left handed preference.
