THE 2011 Al Menah Shrine Circus Comes to Nashville, TN

PRLog - Sep. 30, 2011 - The Nashville Municipal Auditorium roars to life with tantalizing tigers, enchanting elephants, and dramatic daredevils as the legendary Shrine Circus rolls into Nashville for four thrilling days with seven breathtaking performances.  Passionate performers from 15 countries will dazzle circus fans with new, amazing feats in the biggest and best Shrine Circus ever.  

The Al Menah Shrine Circus is the hottest ticket in town!  The Shriners are pleased to offer affordable family entertainment, and “BOGO” (buy one, get one) coupons are available at www.2011circus.com in publications and locations throughout the community.    Tickets are $14 for children (12 and under), $18 for adults, and reserved seating is $22.  More details on show times and tickets are available at the website, including a link to Ticketmaster.  A limited number of $9 tickets are available at the box office.  Details of the special offer are available on the website, www.2011circus.com,.  Show time on Thursday is 7:00 pm.  Friday, at 7:30 pm.  Saturday shows are at 11 am, 3 and 7:30 pm.  And, Sunday, shows are at 2:00 and 6:00 pm.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of George Carden, in the circus.  Carden, a circus legend, has partnered with the Shriners for five decades to raise money for worthy causes.  Each year, Carden scours the globe to bring spectacular international talent to his Shrine Circus shows.  “I’ve watched generations of Texans grow up at the circus,” says Carden.  Michelle Audrey, is delighted to act as emcee on behalf of the Al Menah Shrine, “This is a show that is all about family fun and creating memories.  I have the best job in the world.”  Bo the Elephant performs amazing tricks with his bevy of pachyderm babes under the celebrated direction of trainer Larry Carden.  Weighing in at almost 6 tons, Bo is a big star!  Bruno Blaszac’s Bengal Tigers are roaring back to Texas with an adrenaline-fueled opening act.  Bruno is a can’t-miss!  We’ve added all new performances from across the globe…many have never been seen in North America before. Innovative acrobats, delightful daredevils, and, as always, those loveable Shrine clowns will be part of the Al Menah Shrine show.  

The Shrine Circus is the only interactive circus in the world! This year’s show includes the opportunity of a lifetime, as audience members are welcomed into the circus rings before, during intermission, and after the circus to meet the stars, ride ponies and elephants, and take photographs.  The Al Menah Shrine is throwing a Pre-Party for all who wish to hobnob with local celebrities, or for those who just love to clown around!
