Mansfield Plumbing Products Helps Save Your Money from Going Down the Toilet on Designing Spaces

The Mansfield® High Efficiency Toilets (HET) are designed with conservation in mind. HET toilets use a minimum of 20% less water than standard 1.6 gallon per flush (gpf) toilets. Depending on the application and cost per gallon of water-- the savings can be quite substantial.

The Mansfield® High Efficiency Toilets (HET) introduces their newest money saving product called, the Summit Dual Flush. This innovative product offers a dual button, flush actuator on the top of the tank giving you a choice of how much water to flush. The small button flushes 1.1 gpf for liquids and the larger button 1.6 gpf is typically used for solids. Even though it uses less water—it’s a great flushing toilet.

Throughout the show viewers will learn the many benefits an HET model offers.  For instance, it uses less water per flush. In the case of the dual flush there is an extra opportunity to save. You can choose to use as little as 1.1 gpf to flush liquids which is 0.5 a gallon less than the current 1.6 gpf standards-- and substantially less than the 3.5 gpf toilets installed prior to 1992.
