Suburban Bank & Trust’s Heart Walk Teams Raise Over $6500 for the American Heart Association!

Sept. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- At least 75 Suburban Bank & Trust (SBT) employees, family members, business associates, and friends laced up their jogging shoes to help raise more than $6500 for the American Heart Association at the West/DuPage Heart Walk, held September 24 in Downers Grove.

SBT dedicated its participation in the event to the memory of Markham branch guard, Ron Spivey, and bank director, John S. Carroll. Chairman of the Board, Blanche E. Hill, and bank President, Donald O’Day led the group of SBT walkers. Members of SBT’s teams included representatives from Linden Group (Des Plaines), the bank’s benefits provider, and Marilyn Fitzpatrick of Carroll Hartigan & Cerney, Ltd.

All SBT branches were involved in the effort, collecting donations for the American Heart Association in the bank lobbies. Ten of the bank’s 13 branches were represented at the walk itself. Individual walkers solicited support through direct donations, emails to family and friends, and social media links to their personal Heart Walk donation pages.
