River receives nomination for global marketing communications award

Oxfordshire based performance improvement specialist, River Marketing, has been shortlisted for a Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide (MAAW) award for its inspiring work with Mercedes Benz Vans.

Sept. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- The Globes - MAAW’s prestigious annual awards - celebrate ‘the best of the best’ in the marketing communications industry.  Each year MAAW receives over 400 award entries for marketing communications programmes that are already national award winners.

River designed and implemented the Mercedes-Benz Vans Sales Acadamy World Cup campaign to help bring the dealer network together and create genuine engagement among participants.  The programme period coincided with the 2010 football World Cup and included creative communications such as a dedicated Facebook page, regular video updates and Twitter feeds, plus a celebrity challenge on TalkSPORT radio.

River has been on a winning streak recently, receiving 6 nominations and two Gold awards for the Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) awards in May of this year.
