Michael Notaro, DTM, of Alameda, California, is an attorney, principal of the Notaro Law Group and a licensed real estate broker. Before opening his law practice, Notaro was the president of Phoenix Commercial Realty. He earned his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
Notaro joined Toastmasters during his senior year at the University of California, Berkeley, to learn techniques for delivering a graduation speech. He was immediately impressed with the program and how it improved the members' self-confidence.
District Governor Pantano presides over Toastmasters District 83, which includes Metropolitan New Jersey, Rockland County and Staten Island.
As the district governor, Pantano, has the responsibility of directly overseeing and managing the district’s day to day operations, finances, and human resources. She works with the District’s executive committee to enhance the performance and extend the network of 150+ clubs, in so doing offer greater numbers of people the opportunity to improve from the Toastmasters education program.
In addition to hosting the Presidential Visit, Pantano presided over the District 83 Fall conference, attended by 150 members and guests. The conference was packed with fun, excitement, and learning. As part of the conference the District 83 Humorous Speech Contest was held on Saturday night, with the District 83 Table Topics Contest held on Sunday afternoon.
