Rusty Blackwood, Author Of 'Passion In Paris', Announces Toronto Area Book Signings

Sept. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Acclaimed Canadian author Rusty Blackwood, author of the 'Passion In Paris' series, will be holding several book signing over the next few months in the Welland, Ontario area. On November 5th she will appear from 1 to 4 pm at Coles in Pen Centre in St. Catharines. On November 19th she will be signing books again from 1 to 5 pm at Coles in Seaway Mall in Welland. She will also be appearing at Chapters at Fairview Mall in St. Catharines, Ontario. on Nov. 27th. from 1 to 4 pm.

Ms. Blackwood believes the flair for fantasy is anything the mind wishes it to be, and she is a master at this. " I enjoy writing romantic fiction," stated Ms. Blackwood, "as it allows my imagination to whisk me to exotic places where anything is possible and often is within the content of a story, it also serves as a gratifying outlet of my own emotions and feelings. Rusty Blackwood has written an eclectic array of Contemporary and Traditional poetry, publishing her first collection in October of 2009 entitled, ‘Feelings: A Rhythmic Journey in Thought’. This was followed in April of 2010 by a collection of assorted short stories for children as well the young at heart entitled, ‘Young Minds’.

Her first venture into the competitive world of main-stream fiction was a long time in the making, but was finally realized in early October 2010 with the release of her debut romance novel, ‘Passion in Paris: Connections to the Past’, the first of two in the ongoing romance/drama. The second part, a romance novel entitled, ‘Passion in Paris: Directions of the Heart’ was released in May 2011 and will be followed by the intriguing drama, ‘Net of Lies’.
