By: The World Affairs Forum During the George W. Bush administration, Hadley held several high ranking positions. For four years, he served as the assistant to the president for National Security Affairs and principal White House foreign policy advisor. During Bush’s first term, Hadley was the assistant to the president and worked under National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice. His responsibilities included the Israeli disengagement from Gaza, developing a strategic relationship with India, and ballistic missile defense. Previously, Hadley served as the assistant secretary of defense for international security policy under then Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney. The cost for the breakfast and presentation is free for AR Series members and $45 for the general public. The event will start at 7:15 A.M. with coffee and networking followed by a full breakfast buffet at 7:30. The presentation will begin at 8 A.M. and Hadley will take questions.
