Stontronics introduces the HG Power LED Driver Range to the European market

With the steady rise of this solid-state lamp, light-emitting diode, technology the demand for high quality and low cost drivers to power these units is soaring. Stontronics has had a range of LED drivers available for many years and has had worked closely with many leading companies in the Lighting industry.

We are now please to announce the launch of a brand new range of ‘HG Power’ LED Drivers. Stontronics is the exclusive European distributor for this reputable, ISO:9001 approved, Chinese manufacturer. Stontronics will be holding stock of their most popular constant current, constant voltage & dimmable drivers in our 25,000 square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility in Reading, UK. We also have a team of experienced and knowledgeable sales and technical sales staff who can help you source the correct driver/power supply for your application.

Most LED bulbs natively need a constant current DC output set at 350mA, 700mA or 1050mA. There are also higher output currents although available but we find that these are for specialist LED bulbs and applications (if this is YOU then please don’t hesitate to contact us with your requirement!). Many customers also find our range of HG Power drivers desirable as they are fully encapsulated to IP67 waterproofing with flying DC and AC input and output leads. Some LED applications will require a standard constant voltage output. The LV range of constant voltage IP67 rated range from ‘HG Power’ has been designed specifically for the LED market but a standard Switch Mode Power Supply, like our T3717ST (12Vdc 3.5Amp Wall-Mounting SMPSU) or our T3712ST (12Vdc 1Amp Wall-Mounting Power Supply), would also be suitable in these applications. Make sure you discuss this with your sales representative!
