New-look Olive House invites the public to an Open Day

Sept. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Olive House has undergone a complete transformation both inside and out, with eight new en-suite bedrooms, bringing the total number of beds to 43.  

Visitors to the Open Day, on October 1, will be able to view the revamped facilities at the single-storey home in Olive Avenue and speak to members of staff about the services provided.

Home Manager, Wendell Damasco said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people on the Open Day, whether they will be thinking about moving here, looking for a home for a loved one or even someone interested in a career in care.

“Olive House is a very happy home and now has had a new lease of life since its refurbishment.  We’d like as many people as possible to come and see our wonderful home and meet our dedicated staff, who will be happy to answer any questions they may have.”

The Open Day will include a raffle and tombola, as well as cake stalls and refreshments.  The event will take place from 2pm to 5pm.

Olive House is owned by Healthcare Homes, which has a further 22 homes throughout East Anglia.  It has a rating of ‘Excellent’ from the Care Quality Commission, the independent inspection body of health and social care in England.
