AIUM’s Ultrasound Practice Accreditation Council Announces Acreditation of Gynecology&Inferterlity

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 26, 2011 - (Dover, NH) – The Ultrasound Practice Council of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine is pleased to announce that Gynecology and Infertility Associates is among a growing number of ultrasound practices to achieve accreditation in Gynecologic and First Trimester ultrasound. “The AIUM’s Ultasound Practice Accreditation Council is reviewing numerous applications for accreditation.” States AIUM’s Director of Accreditation Paula Woletz, RDMS, RDCS, MPH. “Gynecology and Infertility Associates has achieved accreditation in recognition that the practice has met voluntary standards set by the diagnostic ultrasound profession.  The entire practice was reviewed including the practice’s personnel, physical facilities; documentation, storage, and record-keeping practices; policies and procedures; quality assurance methods; and how the practice meets the AIUM Standards.”

Gynecology and Infertility Associates has successfully completed the application process for Gynecologic and First Trimester ultrasound practice accreditation and was awarded accreditation in this area for a period of three years.  According to Dr. Anne Kalter of Gynecology and Infertility Associates, “This is yet one more way our patients can be reassured they are receiving the latest top quality care from our office.”
