Sept. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Authors and paranormal researchers Daniel Norvell and Sandra Wells announced today the release of Beyond Life: The Ghost Chronicles, published by AuthorHouse.  The authors have taken their considerable experience researching the paranormal and the afterlife and have posed intriguing situations for the newly deceased to resolve in this entertaining collection of eight fictional tales about those who are trapped by a problem they must solve before moving on to their final resting place.

Each of these fascinating tales involves ordinary people who suddenly find themselves in extraordinary situations due to the peculiar circumstances of their death.  The authors play a marvelous game of “what if” and “could this be true” with their readers as they lead them through the twists and turns of these tales into the unusual adventures of ghosts striving to end an in-between “life” of torment, terror or travail.

There’s the young man who has been wandering the country during the Great Depression and who suddenly finds himself accused of murder, locked up on death row and executed.  What can he do from the beyond to clear his name of this horrible injustice?

There’s one crafty soul who has cut a deal with the Angel of Death, only to find out, too late, that he’s been tricked.  There’s another new ghost, less crafty, who has just died of an accidental overdose, but does not realize he’s dead.  What does he do?

Each of these clever fictional tales presents a newly deceased person with a formidable problem to solve so they can move onto that place where all our belief, faith and reality come together as one final truth.  How each solves his or her own peculiar problem is a tribute to the rich storytelling abilities of Norvell and Wells.

Those who are experienced in paranormal research or occurrence, those who may not even believe in an afterlife at all, and those who just enjoy a good old fashioned ghost story can look forward to broadening their perspective -- quite enjoyably – in these stories about life after death.
