Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, October 1, at PV Bicycle Center in Rolling Hills Estates

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 24, 2011 - This is a great opportunity for you to pass your passion for pedaling on to kids.   Plan to go mountain biking on the first Saturday in October - and bring a kid along for the ride!

In support of First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative, IMBA has pledged to get 30,000 children participating in 300 cycling events on Oct. 1. We could use your help in reaching this goal. Broadcast Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day to your networks and join us with the kid of your choice at PV Bicycle Center for our ride.

Steve Bowen, owner of PV BIcycle Center asks, "We are currently seeking interested participants, kids ages 5 - 12, who have shown an interest in cycling accompanied by their parents, grandparents or other family members. All you need is a bike, helmet and a full water bottle. We will stay on flat trails so any type of bike is fine. If you are interested but you don't have a bike or helmet, contact the shop at (310) 377-7441 and we'll try and arrange a loaner."
