Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Charlotte, NC.  September 22, 2011 — Patrick Diamond joins ProSidian Consulting Advisory Board.  His independent guidance and expertise will help maximize ProSidian Consulting’s growth and strategic value.  ProSidian Consulting, LLC (ProSidian), a strategically diversified business and technical advisory firm providing services to government and private sector, has created a board of advisors comprised of five (5) industry veterans who will help maximize the firm’s success and value.

ProSidian has been on a path with a vision to realize the full potential of our capabilities as a top tier advisory services firm through excellence in service, while upholding our values and ethical standards to give back to the communities in which our consultants and their clients work and live.

The announcement was made by Adrian Woolcock (Managing Principal).  ProSidian’s management hopes to execute on a five (5) year plan of realized growth while focusing on the same "pole star" of successful client engagements and a growth continuum to create value for the firm and its clients.  We are looking for “Great People Who Lead” at all levels in the organization, explains Adrian Woolcock (Founder & Managing Principal).

Mr. Woolcock founded ProSidian Consulting in 2004 with a firm focus on client results first and foremost through a culture where team dynamics, entrepreneurial spirit, and respect for the individual form the cornerstone of advisory services.  Adrian Woolcock has a long track record of engaging clients to develop and execute strategies focused on driving business performance.  Mr. Woolcock previously held leadership positions in industry and with Big 4 Accounting and consulting firms.

The formation of the Board of Advisors is the next step in the firm’s strategic plan to grow organically and through acquisition to $30 million with offices in Charlotte NC, Washington DC, Atlanta GA, Houston TX, and Ft Lauderdale FL — by 2016.

The Advisory Board Members were chosen to reinforce a firm focus on opportunities in the South West, South East, and Mid Atlantic Areas of the United States.  The members of ProSidian Consulting’s Board of Advisors are:

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER BIO:  PATRICK DIAMOND

Patrick Diamond is the Development Director of the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture.  His development roles include the development and implementation of The Gantt Center’s Founders Campaign and fundraising activities as well as working with the Center’s Board of Directors and staff to establish annual auctions, annual membership campaigns and other new revenue opportunities.  He also worked to establish exhibition and program collaborations with local and non-local arts organizations.

Prior to joining the Center in 2007, he served for the previous seven years as Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Housing for the City of Chicago with responsibilities including management of the Community Programs Division providing City residents with a broad range of first time home ownership services including low cost mortgages, grants, pre- and post-home ownership counseling.  With responsibility for budget and expenditure management of $20 million annually in City, State and Federal funding, duties also included acquisition and rehabilitation of vacant and abandoned residential properties.  

From (1996 – 2000), Mr. Diamond served as Manager of Business and Economic Development at Duke Energy Corporation where he was responsible for recruitment and retention of industrial and commercial customers within a 5-county region.  His focus on recruiting domestic and international prospects resulted in the creation of approximately 2,500 new jobs to the Charlotte region.  

From (1991- 1996) Mr. Diamond served as a Duke Energy Community Relations Assistant District Manager and later District Manager in Charlotte and Winston-Salem, North Carolina responsible for community relations for 3 counties and responsibility for coordinating public relations activities with local City, County and State government.  Mr. Diamond also managed corporate foundation contributions to local organizations.  His organization coordinated the company’s participation in civic, business and economic development activities.  

As Assistant Vice President, Community Reinvestment at Bank Of America Corporation, Mr. Diamond served roles in bank compliance with federal community investment regulations.  Duties included developing products and services to meet the credit and banking needs of low income customers as well as coordinating marketing and community relations plans for North and South Carolina, Georgia and Delaware.  

Mr. Diamond also served as a Compliance Officer for the U.S. Department Of Health And Human Services (1977-1983) focusing on the evaluation of Federal regulation compliance status of hospitals, nursing homes and state agencies throughout Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida and South Carolina.

With experiences ranging from Business and Economic Development to non-profit fund development, Mr. Diamond started his career in academia as Director, Africa Volunteer Project (1972-1974) at Harvard University stationed in Tanzania, East Africa where he managed programs for teachers and special project workers in the East African countries of Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania.  

Through the years Mr. Diamond has served on numerous Boards of Directors including Art Institute of Chicago Leadership Advisory (2002-2007), Boy Scouts of America, Charlotte (1996-2000)), Davidson College Public Radio Station WDAV (1997-2000), ECHO Foundation, Charlotte  (1998-2000), Mint Museum of Art (1998-2000),United Family Services (1996-2000), Charlotte-Mecklenburg Urban League (1989 – 1991), Centura Bank, Winston-Salem (1994 - 1996), Junior Achievement, Winston-Salem (1994 - 1996), Piedmont Triad Regional Partnership, Winston-Salem (1993 – 1996), Southside Community Arts Center, Chicago (2004 - 2007), United Way of Forsyth County, Winston-Salem (1993 - 1996), Chamber of Commerce, Winston-Salem (1993 - 1996), Habitat for Humanity, Winston-Salem (1994 - 1996)

Mr. Diamond’s trusteeship includes serving on the Boards of Trustees for Charlotte Country Day School (1986- 1993),Forsyth Country Day School(1993- 1996), North Carolina Harvest Food Bank (1989 - 1992), and Winston-Salem Arts Council (1994- 1996).  Previous volunteer activities and Civic Committees include American Red Cross, Pheresis Program Donor (1990-2005), Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, Business Investment Comm. (1998-2000), and Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, Public School Reform Comm. (1999-2000).  

An active patron of the arts and collector, Mr. Diamond currently volunteers as part of The Art Institute of Chicago, Prints and Drawings Committee (2006-Present), Charlotte Country Day School Board of Trustees (2007-Present), National Advisory Council Reynolda House Museum of American Art (2010-Present), American Red Cross, Pheresis Donor (2010-Present).

Patrick Diamond has held numerous corporate and civic roles, is active in the community and volunteer initiatives.  He is married with one son who is a lawyer in North Carolina.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in American History and a Master’s degree in Education, both from Boston University.
