Hepatitis B Foundation Launches New Fundraising Initiative through Car Donation Program

Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- DOYLESTOWN, PA (September 2011) – The Hepatitis B Foundation (www.hepb.org), celebrating its 20th anniversary as the global authority dedicated to eliminating hepatitis B worldwide, is pleased to announce that it has established a new fundraising initiative – a vehicle donation program.  

The program targets individuals who are considering trading in or selling their working or non-working vehicles. Through the program persons are able to donate their vehicles while making a tax-deductible contribution in support of the Foundation’s mission to find a cure and improve the quality of life for those affected by hepatitis B. There are no costs associated with the donation for the donor or the Foundation. Proceeds from the Foundation’s program will support funding-focused research, disease awareness efforts, and immunization and treatment initiatives. Funds will also continue to help the Foundation serve as the primary source of information for patients and their families, the medical and scientific community and the general public.  

In addition to cars, the program accepts vans, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, boats, jet skis, snowmobiles, RVs and even airplanes. The Foundation’s car donation program partner will arrange to pick-up the donated vehicle and will handle the towing and title transfer requirements.
