Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Bean Garage, a shop based in Jacksonville, Florida, is in the midst of preparing a head turning import car to be shown at various car shows in Southern California for the 2011/2012 circuit.  The car, a 2009 Nissan Cube, is being prepared with an "old school" flavor and keeping up with the current trends of the automotive enthusiasts.

In addition to becoming an online phenomenon and prototype car for the community, Bean Garage will get physical exposure through attending car shows located in Southern California and surrounding areas, where the heart of this industry is. One of the main events that the company is looking to attend is the weeklong 2011 SEMA show in Las Vegas in early November. This show has been growing in the last couple years and will be a great showcase for the sponsors' products and increased exposure. Last year, the SEMA show hosted over 50,000 domestic and international buyers and represents retail potential of $28 billion.

Through a strategic plan of attending car shows, gaining online exposure through vehicle owner’s clubs and Internet magazines/blogs, and hopeful SEMA attendance, they are confident in this 2011 drive for exposure maximization. The build-up of the car will be documented for users on blogs, Facebook, and Twitter. This brings a more personal touch to the project’s onlookers and is easy to showcase products used.   The shop owner has compiled a list of car shows in Southern California and surrounding areas that this promotional car will attend, such as the wildly popular Formula D and NISEI week.

The Nissan Cube is the perfect platform for modification. For this project, Bean Garage wanted to use a car that represents cutting edge design, forward thinking fuel economy, and looks to draw spectators’ attention. The Nissan Cube represents all of these things in a hip, tuner-friendly package. It is easily recognizable and sure to get many reactions.  Bean Garage is associated with high quality aftermarket parts and accessories, so it made sense to showcase the best companies and products on their show car for 2011.  You can view all of the aftermarket parts and accessories for Scions, Nissans, Hondas, and other sub-compact cars at http://www.beangarage.com.

The company is still looking for additional sponsors that would be interested in an exciting, different way to market their product.  Bean Garage is maintaining a blog to document the build up of the project which can be viewed at http://beangarage.com/blog/tag/og-jdm/
